One of the standout features of Antico Pizza is its commitment to traditional Neapolitan pizza. Their pies are crafted with care, using only the finest ingredients, many of which are imported directly from Italy. The dough is hand-stretched, making each pizza not just a meal but a true work of art. The wood-fired oven ensures that every pie is cooked to perfection, creating a crisp yet chewy crust with a rich, smoky flavor. If you’re a fan of classic Italian pizza, you can’t go wrong with the Margherita, which showcases fresh mozzarella, tangy tomato sauce, and a sprinkle of basil. But if you're in the mood for something a bit more adventurous, the Diavola pizza, with spicy salami and hot chili, will definitely hit the spot.

Every pizza is crafted with the perfect balance of flavors, from the crispy, golden crust to the rich, flavorful toppings. It's clear that the team behind this restaurant takes pride in serving only the best. Many patrons rave about the freshness of the ingredients, and it's no surprise why - the tomatoes taste like they were picked right off the vine, and the mozzarella is soft and creamy, making each bite an experience to savor.

Another perk of dining at Antico Pizza Battery Park is its variety. Whether you're in the mood for a classic pizza, a fresh salad, or a delicious dessert, there’s something for everyone. The antipasto platter is a perfect start to any meal, featuring a variety of Italian meats, cheeses, and olives. For those with a sweet tooth, the Nutella pizza is a must-try. It's a perfect balance of creamy chocolate and dough, leaving you satisfied but not overly stuffed.

The ambiance at Antico Pizza is casual yet lively, making it an ideal spot for a casual dinner with friends or a romantic evening out. The exposed brick walls and rustic decor provide a charming backdrop that makes it easy to forget you're in the middle of Atlanta. • If this pizza isn't the best in the Atlanta area, then I don't know what is. As someone who has had pizza where it was invented in Naples, I know great pizza. If you never make it to Italy, you will be glad to try their pies. Try the Margherita with pepperoni. It will change your life. Also, this is the best value in all of the Battery. Don't forget the A-lister discount if you are a Braves season ticket holder!

  • Great wood fired pizzas made with top quality ingredients. Wasn’t too busy during a baseball game. Large selection of beers and mixed drinks. Bartenders were great! Excellent service and fair prices on the pizzas.

  • This was our third time at Antico’s at the Battery. It’s always busy on game-day so we were glad to stop in before the Braves’ season gets going. Pizza is the perfect size for 2 adults to share. I always appreciate a smaller menu as it typically means the food is on point. Service was fast and the crust was superb. A must try!

  • Wowzers! There's a reason this place is so popular! Fast and friendly service. All food made and cooked fresh in the wood fire oven. Portions are huge, so plan to have leftovers, come hungry or share with friends! Everyone in my party loved what they ordered, and we left feeling stuffed! The sauce isn't overwhelming like some pizza places. Mozzarella cheese is on point, as are all the other toppings! Had indoor and outdoor seating available.

  • If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. We ate here twice this weekend while we were in town for the Savannah Bananas games. Absolutely delicious! We tried 4 different pizzas and a calzone and loved every choice we made. This will definitely be on the list of places we want to enjoy again. If only Atlanta wasn't so far from home!!!! i didn't get pics of the first night, but made sure to when we went back on Sunday.

  • Great pizza.. fast and delicious. Even on busy braves game days you get great quality food.

  • Good food for a decent price at The Battery! I like the crust on the pizza, and the meatballs were better than I expected from a place like Atlanta where Italian culture isn’t exactly thriving. They give you a hefty portion for them too. The bar is separate, and I’m saddened that they don’t have any dark beers on tap even in the winter, but they have some canned options and if you like IPAs this place has ‘em.

  • I had the pleasure of trying this jambalaya, and I can honestly say it was one of the best dishes I’ve had in a long time. From the very first bite, you can taste the love and attention that went into preparing it. The flavors were bold, rich, and perfectly balanced—the smoky sausage, tender chicken, and juicy shrimp all came together in harmony with the seasoned rice. Every forkful was a mix of spice, heat, and comfort that reminded me of authentic Southern cooking at its finest. The seasoning was spot on: not too salty, not too spicy, but packed with enough flavor to make you close your eyes and savor each bite. The rice was fluffy and cooked to perfection, absorbing all the delicious juices from the meats and spices. What I loved most was that every bite had a little bit of everything—meat, vegetables, and rice—making it hearty and satisfying. This wasn’t just food, it was an experience. It’s the kind of meal that makes you feel at home, no matter where you are. If you’re craving authentic jambalaya that will leave you full, happy, and planning your next plate, this is it.
